Cross-country skiing

The domain of Coulmes offers a very vast choice of paths, marked out or not. It is accessible by D22 - carpark within 1km from the village - in direction from Presles.

Snowshoe hiking

The many paths for summer hiking and cross-country skiing are also the paradise of "snowshoers".

The plateau of Coulmes also makes it possible to leave the beaten paths and to hike deep in the powder snow. Armed with a good map and/or a GPS, you can make of it your ground of discovery for the weekend or for the week. The many marked out paths also offer a permanent pleasure to those which prefer fun & tranquility.

Ski touring

The cirque of Railletière and the valley of Rencurel, accessible through the plateau of Coulmes offer a broad choice of ski tours of all levels and far from traditional overloaded tracks. For those in love with mountains.

Swimming pools

The city swimming pool of Malleval is open from mid-june to mid-septembre. Another city pool is accessible at Vinay. They are both open to sky.

Parapente

On the border of the cirque of Railletiere, overhanging the hamlet, two sites welcome parapenters. Both are visible from the gite; one to the south and the other to the south-west. The access is through D22 with a first parking where the road reaches the border of the cirque (Pré coquet).

Rock climbing

A school of climbing is at a few hundred meters of the village, in the direction of the hamlet of Servagère. This pretty site is under development thanks to volunteers which open new ways of all levels. >>More

Well located to access the whole vercors, the hamlet of Railletière will ideally host cyclist that want to spend great times on mountain roads and trip around to Rencurel, Autrans, Villars de Lans, Corrençon,...

Golf

The "Golf de Charmeil" is situated at St Quentin sur Isère (N532), 30 Kms from the gîte.
